TEXT REFORMATTER By Chronos Chronos30@aol.com http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Campus/5552 With the new discovery of the !- command, which lets you read files with ZZT, I thought, Hey! Not all files will fit in the ZZT window! ZZT does NOT word-wrap. So, I made a program that reformats a file so it DOES fit in the ZZT window. It usually looks pretty screwy, especially if it recognizes a ! in the file, but otherwise, it's pretty kewl! First, run Textref.exe. It will give you a prompt: > Filename? Input a file and press enter. > File text.txt reformatted into 30 43-character lines. > Replace old file? (Y)es, (N)o, (C)ancel Now, you can either (Y) save over the file, (N) make a filename for the reformatted file, or (C) cancel the whole thing altogether. NOTE: This file opens the temporary file TEMP.TXT, but sometimes it may not delete it afterwards. Just thought you'd want to know.
